 Reading - As Much Fun as a Day at the Beach!
To celebrate ALL of the reading being done this year at St. Dorothy School, the Student Council is hosting an afternoon of beach fun. Students will be invited to wear shorts and bring beach towels (beach CHAIRS for 8th graders). Students will picnic (brown bag) lunch outside to Beach Boys tunes. Everyone will take part in special contests and events. Mrs. Valenti will organize a beach ball volleyball game between Room 10 & Room 14. All Students and teachers are invited to cheer on their favorite 8th graders on the field. Pay attention to Mrs. Sheehans reports about numbers of books read to take part in a special contest! Be on the lookout for special guests throughout the afternoon. Don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses! |
