Hello!
 My name is Mrs. Jennifer Corcoran. I will be the KA class Teacher.  I have lived in Springfield all my life and spent my Summers as a child growing up in Ocean City, NJ. This is my fifth year teaching at St. Dorothy School.  I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten! 

I graduated from Cabrini College in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have worked at the YMCA for over 16 years in the childcare and membership departments. I currently have 2 children who attend St. Dorothy School, 8th and 6th grade.  I also serve on the Development Committee which organizes the Oktoberfest Fair in October.  I myself graduated from St. Dot's many many many years ago! This parish and community have been a huge part of my entire life!

When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is be with my family...my husband (Tim), my two boys (Nolan and Trevor), and my two dogs (Banana and Pumpkin)! We love to snuggle on the couch, watch movies together, and play in our backyard. I LOVE the shore and anything to do with the beach! And my most favorite thing to do alone is to get a manicure and pedicure!

I am looking forward to spending my days with your child. I can't wait to learn and grow from them and watch them flourish every day! It's going to be a great school year!

       My name is Janet McGowan. I am excited for the new school year and also to meet the students and their families.  This will be my 23rd year here at St. Dorothy's School as a Teacher's Aide for Kindergarten. I have also worked the CARES program for the last 21 years. I've been blessed to know so many wonderful families here at St. Dot's!

 I look forward to the 2024/2025 school year!
