Hello!  I'm Mrs. Cardone.  This year will be my 12th year at St. Dot's and my 33rd as a catholic educator.   Before coming to St. Dot's, I taught at St. Laurence's, St. Matthias, and St. Cyril's.  I've taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade science, social studies and language arts for the bulk of my teaching carreer and love all subjects, especially science.   I really enjoy middle schoolers, and am very comfortable with this age group.  

I have lots of interests besides teaching.  I love to cook, take pictures, read, write short stories, and create and learn. I love music, comedy, a good jump-scare horror movie and animals--especially dogs. I love to laugh and tell horrible jokes--I'm sure the kids will confirm this!   I enjoy spending lots of time down the shore in Ocean City, NJ with my toes in the sand.   I'm a mom of two adult kids who make me proud every day.   I'm sure you'll see me around when you least expect it--at CVS or the supermarket...or Target... or most recently WAWA! .You just never know where I'll turn up!  

 I look forward to a new year full of new challenges, new things to learn and hopefully lots of laughter too.
