Dear First Graders and Parents,

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Miss Alex Pavlovitch and this will be my fourth year teaching at St. Dorothy's. I am so excited to start the 2024-2025 school year with you!

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Grades Pk-4 and Special Ed Pk-8 from West Chester University. I am currently in grad school to receive my masters in reading with a reading specialist certification and will be graduating in December. Prior to teaching at St. Dot's I was a Pre-K Teacher at a private childcare center for four years. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was little and my passion for teaching grew in high school as I began volunteering in the elementary classrooms. I knew St. Dots would be the perfect place to continue growing my love for teaching.

I live close by in Springfield. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We enjoy going for walks, playing games, and having bonfires. I also enjoy running, reading, watching TV, and crafting.

I am eager to meet and get to know my First Graders, as well as watch them learn and grow spiritually, academically, and socially over the course of this next year!
