Miss Finley

Dear 4th Grade Students and Parents, 

Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Kerri Finley and I am a new teacher at St. Dot's this year. I am so excited to meet you all. I attended St. Mary Magdalen and then graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame. I have a passion for Catholic education due to my experiences in Catholic schools. I recently graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Grades 4-8 Education and a minor in Reading. During my senior year at West Chester, I student taught in fifth grade for the entire school year. Completing a year long student teaching program was the most memorable experience, and I cannot wait to share my love for learning with all of you. 

Some of my favorite things include reading, spending time at the beach, crafting and coffee! In my Kindergarten yearbook, I wrote that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. Teaching fourth grade is a dream come true, and I know this year will be the best year yet! I look forward to all the learning and laughter that is to come this year!
