Meet Miss RussellaDear Fifth Grade Students and Families,
Welcome! My name is Christine Russella and I am so excited to join the St. Dots team as the new 5th-grade teacher! I am a recent graduate from Duquesne University, where I studied Early Childhood Education and received my Bachelor of Science in Education. As someone who grew up in Springfield, I am beyond excited to get involved with the local community.
This will be my first year teaching at St. Dorothy School, and I am looking forward to getting to know each student and their family. I am eager to bring my passion for teaching to our classroom. My goal is to make learning fun and inspiring while helping students develop their critical thinking skills and to prepare for the exciting challenges ahead in middle school.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, finding a new coffee spot, reading, and listening to music.
Thank you for welcoming me into the St. Dots community. I cannot wait to embark on this adventure and make this school year a memorable one!
