Spring is here! April is a time for observing the seasonal changes that take place all around us. Remember the old saying, “April showers bring May flowers?” Well, we’re patiently waiting for the flowers and trees to start blooming. The children will be looking for the blooming trees and flowers, from our classroom windows. We will be discussing Dinosaurs and how they once lived on Earth. For Earth Day we’ll be planting flowers and grass seed this month in our classroom. If your family is able to plant flowers or you see flowers in your neighborhood, please send me a picture or two. Ladybugs, Caterpillars and Ants will be making an appearance in our classroom this month. We will be learning about many different animals that call the zoo home.
We will discuss Palm Sunday along with Easter. Discover that Easter and springtime bring new life. We will celebrate the new life of Easter and springtime.Hail Mary
"Hail, Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death."
Amen.
