19th Annual St. Dorothy Oktoberfest Fair
Dates: Tuesday, October 8th, through Saturday, October 12th, 2024
Times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6-9 PM
Friday: 6-10 PM
Saturday: immediately after 4PM Mass (approx 5 PM) until 10 PM

Ticket SalesAdvance Discount Ride Tickets will be sold after all masses through Sunday, October 8th outside church exit on the parking lot side and can also be ordered through any St. Dorothy School or Prep student or online. The advance tickets are discounted, never expire and can be used at any Lynam's Amusement Fair throughout the year at other locations.
To order Discount Ride Tickets THROUGH ST. DOROTHY SCHOOL:
Please send the completed Advanced Ticket Form into school and tickets will be sent home with your student prior to the fair ( all are welcome to order discount tickets through any student). The two classes with the most sales will each win a FREE RIDE WRISTBAND for one night at the fair ( Please understand that this is a courtesy offered by Lynam's amusements this year that is non-transferable. Administratively we are only able to offer this on the specific night that student's grade wins the wristband.)

(Lynam's Amusements does not allow children inside the volunteer booths so if your children may need your assistance during your shift please consider volunteering at the activities in the gym):

Reminder: Baked Goods/Individual Treats
Anyone interested in making baked goods, cookies, sweets or any type of individually wrapped treats for the Oktoberfest Fair may drop off your donation at the rectory any day/night of the fair at the kitchen or bakery table. This is always a popular spot for the kids to pick up affordable treats. As always, thank you for your ongoing support!!

History
Over a decade ago, after facing major budgetary constraints, The St. Dorothy Development Committee was formed and the first St. Dorothy Oktoberfest Fair was proposed. The fair and Annual Fund saved a number of faculty positions and eliminated the need to combine multiple classrooms.
The fair not only continues to help our school thrive financially by limiting tuition increases and covers the cost of many infrastructure improvements, but it has become a neighborhood tradition here and in the surrounding communities.
We would like to thank the numerous sponsors of this event for their generous donations through the years. Also, without the St. Dorothy families donating the hugely successful grade level raffle baskets, as well as, filling over 200 volunteer positions, this fair could not continue.
As we have said in the past, this event is a huge undertaking, but every year it continues to be a memorable and successful event thanks to all of you!
