As we begin the month of April, we will discuss what Palm Sunday and Easter means to us. As we go on walks around St. Dorothy’s Campus, we will be looking for some of the seasonal changes. We are hoping that the “April showers bring some beautiful May flowers.” We are thankful for all the beauty Jesus provides us this Spring.
Midway through April, we will grow some grass. The children will observe the changes in the life cycle of grass. Ladybugs, caterpillars, and ants will be making an appearance in the Preschool in a few weeks. The children love seeing the transformation of the different bugs.
Later on in April, we will be talking about recycling. The children will learn what items we should recycle.
As we close the month of April, we will be learning about many different animals that call the zoo home.
