Religion: How do we praise and thank God?

Math: We are working in chapter 7, learning place value through 120. We will identify the value of a digit in a two-digit number, write a number in expanded form, compare two-digit numbers, order two-digit numbers and use a number chart to complete number patterns.

ELA - Unit 3 Week 5:

• Phonics - We are learning words with /u/ spelled oo. We will read and spell words with /u/ spelled oo. We will and the endings -ed and -ing to change the verb tense.
• Reading - The comprehension focus is on sequencing the events of a story. The genre we are focusing on is non-fiction. We will be reading stories this week and discussing non-fiction characteristics and sequencing the events from the stories.
• High Frequence Words: after, every, buy, soon, done, work
• Writing/Grammar: We are continuously practicing writing sentences and making sure our sentences have the correct mechanics. We will practice these skills by writing stories of our own choice. We are also learning about the characteristics of narratives and writing our own narratives. In grammar, we are learning about contractions with not.
